IS PMO Project Criteria

The below definition is for the IS PMO to assign and run a Quorum Health project for any work across the Quorum Enterprise. If all criteria are met, the IS PMO will begin with a formal project assessment before assigning a project manager.

  1. Definitive start and end.
  2. Produces something new. Examples include a software version upgrade, upgrade, implementation, build, or regulatory changes.
  3. Requires coordination between three or more departments and/or divisions. Examples include security and integration.
  4. Has Executive Leadership approval from the appropriate vertical(s).
  5. Meets one or more of the following: More than 40 hours' worth of work; over $5,000 in approved capital funding; or time tracking required within IS.
